The numbers: 9, 14, 18 and 26 were drawn in the sports club lotto on Monday last, June 25, Match-three winners were O’Neill Family, two Croghan View and David Murphy, Ballycoog. The jackpot was not won. The jackpot is €1,950.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Chair yoga will resume in September. We plan to have a day’s outing to ‘Altamont Gardens’ in Carlow on Tuesday, September 18, We also hope to have a break away in October, venue to be decided.

BALLINATON­E FÊTE

Our annual Fête will be held in the grounds of Ballinaton­e Church on Saturday, July 14, at 2.30 p.m. all the usual stalls, books cakes plants bric-à-brac and afternoon tea. Your support would be much appreciate­d.

ART EXHIBITION

The Church of the Sacred Heart would like to thank everyone who has submitted an exhibit for the World Meeting of Families Art Exhibition titled ‘Family Life in Ireland’. The exhibits are currently being prepared for display in our church. Watch this space for more details in the coming few weeks.

CEMETERY MASSES

The annual Cemetery Masses and blessing of the graves will take place as follows: Upper Macreddin Cemetery – Monday, July 16; Lower Macreddin – Tuesday, July 17; Rosahane – Wednesday, July 18, All Masses are at 8.00.p.m.

Please bring a small bottle of water and these will be blessed at the Mass for the blessing of the graves.

SUMMERTIME YOGA

Yoga with Yvonne in Aughrim on Wednesday evenings 8 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. Mixed level. Beginners welcome. Drop in rate €13. Text/call Yvonne at 087 6778733 to book or for more details.

MARKET

Aughrim Town and Country Market at the Pavilion every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy a relaxing sociable morning, catching up with friends and neighbours over a tasty breakfast/brunch or delicious home bakes with a choice of organic barista-style coffee.

You will find a great selection of local organic fruit and vegetables, fresh farm eggs, jams, chutneys, home baked breads and cakes, fresh meat and lots more including aran knits and handcrafts.

COLLECTION THANKS

friends of Local People with Multiple Sclerosis North Wexford/South Wicklow wish to thank all those who contribute­d to their church gate collection at Johnstown Church a few weeks ago. The amount collected was €171.41 for which we are very grateful.
