An exciting new Community Space ‘Seomra’ has been developed by the Dunlavin Parents Group in the Imaal Hall. These rooms are available to be used for a variety of purposes. Enquiries please to dunlavinonline@gmail.com.

CLINIC

TD John Brady will hold a clinic in Dunlavin parish centre on the second Monday of each month from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. All welcome to drop in.

USED POSTAGE STAMPS

Please keep your used postage stamps for St Patrick’s Missions, Kiltegan, who can use them to fundraise. Used stamps can be dropped into the parish office any time. Thank you to all who have donated stamps throughout the past year.

LIBRARY OPENING HOURS

Exciting new books in the local library. Opening hours. Tues: 6.30-8.30. Wed: 3-5 and 6.308.30. Fri: 10.30-1 and 3-5. Sat: 11-1 – closed Saturdays of bank holidays.

THE COMMUNITY ALERT/ FRIENDSHIP GROUP.

As there is no Hollywood Fair till 2019 both groups will hold some Cultural events from August 16 to August 19 to raise funds. There will be a Flower and Art Exhibition in church of Ireland, a Tea Party also music and dancing and lots more. Further details later.

Hollywood Senior Team played their first match in the Senior Football Championship on Sunday against Éire Óg/ Greystones in Joule Park Aughrim. Hollywood came out on top with a score line of 1-14 to 0-13.

Hollywood GAA are holding a raffle. First prize: late late show ticket, drinks reception, dinner and overnight stay in the Radisson Blu for two people. Second prize: late late show ticket, drinks reception and dinner for two people. Third prize: four ball in Palmerstown House, Johnstown Naas. Fourth prize: €50 voucher for Naas Oil Fifth prize: €50 voucher for Hollywood Inn The draw will take place in Hollywood Village on Saturday, August 11, at 10 p.m. The tickets are €10 each and are available from club members.

HOLLYWOOD BINGO

Bingo takes place in the Hollywood Centre every Thursday night at 8.30 p.m.

We have two jackpots €5,000 and €2,700 to play for each week.

DOCTOR’S CLINIC

The Doctor’s Clinic will be held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
