GAA action

The fourth round of the championship takes place this Sunday when Kilmacanogue take on Ballinacor. Throw in is at 5 p.m. in Pearse Park in Arklow and support for the team would be welcomed. The win over Dunlavin has given the team a good chance of reaching the quarter finals but the lads know there can be no more slip ups in their final two games.

Cúl Camp

A great week was had by all the Kilmac junior stars at their annual GAA Cúl Camp in Fitzsimmons Pak last week. The rain held off for most of it and everyone enjoyed the week. Michael Prendergast won ‘Boy of the Camp’ with Aisling Meehan taking the ‘Girl of the Camp’ trophy. Well done to everyone including the coaches and volunteers.

King Memorial match

The annual Patrick and Fiona King Memorial match took place at Ryders Field last Saturday night. Once again, the game featured friends that played with Patrick on both the Glencormac United and St Fergal’s teams and after a crazy 90 minutes which finished 7-7, Fergals won on penalties.

There was a raffle held after in the Wild Goose in Bray with Lorraine Carr scooping the top prize of a pair of signed Katie Taylor Boxing Gloves with all proceeds going to Pieta House in the region of €1,500 so massive thanks to everyone.
