Cancer support hosting fundraiser for hospice
Greystones Cancer Support will be taking part in Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning with a special event at its centre next week.
Greystones Cancer Support Centre is encouraging everyone to come along and support Wicklow Hospice Foundation at their event, which takes place from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a welcome cup of tea or coffee, delicious home baking and plenty of friendly chat.
After many long years of fundraising, construction has begun on the 15-bed hospice facility at Magheramore.
Sonia Walsh, Chairperson of Greystones Cancer Support, said: ‘Well done to all at Wicklow Hospice Foundation for their hard work. It has not been easy.
‘Greystones Cancer Support is happy to hold one of Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Mornings for such a worthy cause,’ she said.
