Eamonn McCann
SOCIAL INCLUSION winner Eamonn McCann has actively participated in the Secretariat of County Wicklow PPN since its inception, as well as sitting on County Wicklow Community Forum and Wicklow Community Platform.
Eamonn has contributed to the success of County wicklow PPN on more than one level. As a secretariat member he has worked diligently to support the growth and development of the PPN and its work. In this he has played a pivotal part in developing the current PPN structures, policies and processes, while promoting and maintaining excellent working and trusting stakeholder relationships.
Eamonn has a wealth of experience in working towards social inclusion and encouraging grass roots and sustainable community development in Ireland and internationally.
His ability to think strategically along with his innate sense of justice and equality, and his genuine belief and consideration of people made him an excellent PPN representative.
Eamonn is wise, practical, pragmatic and compassionate. He has put in many long hours above and beyond the call of duty for the PPN, Wick- low Travellers Group, Wicklow Community Services, Shuttleknit, Fishing Futures, Wicklow Working Together and East Coast Regional Drugs and Alcohol Task Force.
He also has a great sense of humour and will easily share a joke with a twinkle in his eye.
