Enniskerry bus meeting
A public meeting on the proposed Bus Connects changes to the 185 and 44 bus routes will take place next week.
Keep Enniskerry Connected, the community group set up to campaign for retention of the full 185 bus route to Shop River and the 44 bus route to Dublin City, will host the meeting at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, September 24, in the Powerscourt Arms, Enniskerry.
‘We want to update the community on what the group has done so far and we want to ensure that as many individuals as possible take part in the public consultation being run by the National Transport Authority,’ said Caroline Leonard, a spokesperson for Keep Enniskerry Connected.
‘We will assist people to make submissions on the night. The public consultation takes place until September 28. People can take part by taking the survey at www.busconnects.ie, emailing consultations@busconnects.ie or we can assist them on September 24,’ said Ms Leonard.
