LEAVING CERT APPLIED

Many congratulations to our Leaving Cert Applied students on the excellent continuous assessment results they received during the week. Well deserved by one and all.

TY NEWS

Our TY students undertook a multi activity day in Baltinglass Outdoor Education Centre recently. The weather was ideal and the students wholeheartedly entered into the team building spirit which the day was designed to foster. Morale was high as students encouraged each other. Activities on the day included Orienteering, Climbing Tower, Zipline, Archery and Kayaking.

EQUESTRIAN SUCCESS

What a start to the season. A victory for our novice team combination of three first years Lillah Shaw, Hugh O’Loughlin and Emma Kinsella (in their first ever second level Interschools competition) and Katie Nolan, third year.

Thomas Devaney (fifth year) competed with Presentation Wexford in the open team class and jumped a double clear. Well done, all.

HIGHER OPTIONS

Sixth years had an early departure to the RDS on Thursday last for the annual Irish Times Higher Options Career Exhibition. It was a perfect opportunity for students to investigate college courses in Ireland, UK and within the EU. It was also great to meet former students Charlotte Hale and Emer Rose Kelly, who were student ambassadors.
