The care teams DRUIDS Glen Hotel and Golf Resort was among the 16 Irish golf and tourism operators joining Tourism Ireland at the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
IGTM, now in its 21st year, brings together more than 1,300 golf travel professionals from around the world, including about 400 golf tour operators. The Irish companies engaged in four days of one-to-one, pre-scheduled appointments and networking – which provide an excellent opportunity to negotiate and exchange vital contracts mantra is simple ‘no one should die alone, scared or in pain but rather surrounded by much love and loved ones’.
Nominations were invited and received from 374 NHI Member nursing homes that are based in communities across Ireland. The nine NHI Care Awards categories recognise nurses, carers, ancillary workers, activity coordinators, dining and nutrition in nursing homes, excellence in dementia care, community initiative, end of life care and the contribution of residents to nursing home life. The awards take place at Citywest Hotel, Dublin on Thursday, November 15. for 2019.
