Bray’s Aldi back open following renovation

ALDI IN BRAY has reopened after a renovation. This was a complete refurbishm­ent as part of Aldi’s €160 million investment in its Irish store network.

The supermarke­t is revamping the layout and design of all of its 137 stores nationwide with ‘Project Fresh’.

The layout was recognised at the Checkout National Retail Supplier Awards, where Ennistymon, one of it’s first Project Fresh stores, won Best New Store Build.

The new layout includes hispec fixtures and fittings and new signage and the store is powered by 100 per cent green electricit­y.

Aldi has invested heavily in improving its energy management systems and its entire store network is now powered by 100 per cent wind generated energy.

Speaking at the reopening, Jan Brchl, store manager at Aldi’s Bray store said: ‘ The Project Fresh revamp of our store is great news for shoppers. ‘Its new spacious design makes for a very easy and enjoyable shop.’
