Arklow and Rathnew boxers to feature in tournament

ARKLOW’S up and coming young boxers will make their debut at their club on Thursday night next starting at 6.30pm where they will face boxers from Rathnew Boxing Club and Setanta Boxing Club.

First up on the night is Hunter Van Barnevela who will be in action against Brian Shields from Setanta. Aaron Mooney is second into the ring and will face Setanta’s Cian Potts.

Third boxer in action will be Noah Hatty who takes on Eddie O’Kane of Setanta with Leo McCallion in against Owen Murphy, also from Setanta.

Oscar Reid is in with Martin O’Brien while Andrei Shoakov will face Evan Connelly, both from the Setanta club.

Arklow’s Jack Hatty is in action with Tygh Doyle, Jack Hudson will box Kyle Connolly, Sean Byrne is in with Geordana Corr, and the talented Daniel Feokrytov is in action against another Setanta boxer.

Donnacha Murphy will box Rian Began and Callum Roche will be in with Jack Fogarty.

Cian Redmond will stand toe to toe with Sennan Maguire and Liam Molloy will trade blows with Ben Carroll while Simon Hoey will do battle with Cillian Boyle.

Darragh O’Connor will face Ryan Connolly, Daniel Fox will be in action against Leinster champion Michael Lambe while Jason Breen will be in with Adam Synnott from Rathnew.

Niamh Molloy will box Alex Dickenson from Rathnew in what promises to be a cracker.

The tournament, which is sponsored by An Garda Síochána, will start at 6.30pm. Admission to the event is €5 for adults, while children go free.
