Morgan goal drives Kilmac to victory
KILMACANOGUE BRAY EMMETS 2-10 0-15
A powerful strike from veteran Stephen Morgan inspired Kilmacanogue a sweet victory over Bray Emmets in this highly entertaining clash at the foot of the Sugarloaf last Sunday morning.
Going in trailing by 0-11 to 1-3 at the break after a fine performance from the Bray men in the opening half, Kilmac needed something special to get themselves back on the horse in the second half.
Chief scorers for Bray were Des Kelly and Niall McGraynor while Micheal Whelan’s goal in the opening half kept Kilmac alive.
Morgan’s goal worked a treat early in the second half and Kilmac snatched a valuable victory.
