Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Kilmacanogue – First Wednesday of each month in St Mochonog’s Church, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Enniskerry – After 10.15 a.m. Mass each Friday morning in St Mary’s Church.
Annual Mass of remembrance for those who died during the year: This year’s Masses for those who died during the year will be celebrated on Remembrance Sunday, November 10, at 10 a.m. in St Monchonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue, and at 11 a.m. in St Mary’s Church, Enniskerry. Invitations will be issued to the families of those whose funerals took place in the parish. All those who had relatives, either from or outside the parish, who died in the last year either are invited to participate and have their loved ones remembered. Please submit their names to one of the Parish Secretaries, Margaret in Enniskerry or Joyce in Kilmacanogue. At the start of the Mass, a family member will be invited to place a photo of their loved one on a remembrance notice board in front of the Altar – standard size inches by four inches/15 by 10 cms – these will remain there for the month of November. They will be invited, during the Mass, to carry a lighted candle to the Altar in memory of their loved one.
Legion of Mary – Kilmacanogue Presidium: Meet at 11.30 a.m. every Tuesday in the sacristy of St Mochonog’s. New members are most welcome. Group recite the Rosary on the first Saturday of each month at midday at the Grotto in the church grounds. Click on the link legionofmary.ie to view website.

HISTORY SOCIETY
Guest speaker for the 8.30 p.m. Thursday, November 14, meeting of the Enniskerry History Society, which meets under the guidance of its president John Callan, in the Powerscourt Arms Hotel, will be local historian and author Rob Goodbody at which he will present his lecture ‘Cherrywood Through Time’ and all are welcome to attend what will be a most fascinating presentation from an expert historian on this part of County Dublin.

ENNISKERRY 100
At the Tuesday, October 25, 1919, meeting of the Rathdown No. Two Rural District Council in Enniskerry, a sub-division of Wicklow County Council, chaired by Mr Francis Buckley, Thomas McDonagh was awarded the contract to make eight yards of 18-inch gullet and 21 yards of a 9-inch drain on the road of Glencormick to Tinnahinch near Mrs Brandon’s House, having tendered £8 for this work. The only other tender submitted was from Mr Patrick Toole, Enniskerry in the amount of £8. 7s.

PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP
All are welcome to come along to the parent and toddler group at the community centre from 10.30 p.m. to midday every Wednesday. €2 per child.
