Avonmore made it six wins from six in the Andy McEvoy Premier Division on Sunday to join St. Peter’s at the top of the table with 18 points.

The Rathdrum outfit overcame Arklow Town 4-1 at Pat O’Toole Park, with Adam Tuke, Ryan Cahill, Fiachra Ryan and Paddy Kennedy getting the goals.

Aaron Kelly hit the back of the net for the Arklow side.

Stephen Finlay bagged the equaliser for Wicklow Rovers as they drew 1-1 with Ashford Rovers. Ryan Beale had given Ashford the lead from the penalty spot.

Pat O’Toole Division 1

Coolboy Rangers moved level with Arklow Town at the top of the Pat O’Toole Division 1 with a hardfought 3-2 win over Arklow United on Sunday.

Lorcan Rossiter, Jason Cush and Bradley Walsh scored for the winners, with Niall Higgins netting both goals for United.

Arklow Town suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Roundwood AFC at Travers Insurances Park, with the visitors making it five wins from five league outings.

All of their goals came in the second-half, with Ken Greene, Tony Conway and Damien Johnson hitting the back of the net.

St Anthony’s won a seven-goal thriller against Derry Rovers in Clonegal, with Darrren Collopy (two), Eoin Keddy and Glenn Dunne scoring for the Kilcoole outfit and Daniel Murphy (two) and Ian St. Ledger hitting the back of the net for the hosts.

Mark McHugh, Oisin Keogh, Brian Riera and Dave O’Sullivan got the goals for Greystones United as they saw off Carnew AFC 4-2 at the Woodlands, with Cillian Gilligan and PJ O’Keefe replying for the Wexford border side.
