Citizens Information still offering advice
Citizens Information Centres have continued to offer a range of information and advice throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bray Citizens Information Centre has been set up as the central hub for telephone calls or emails from around the county. Calls to Arklow and Wicklow Town centres are automatically diverted to the Bray Citizens Information Centre.
Information is available on a range of topics including employment and income supports. These cover areas such as Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment, short time work support, employment rights, enhanced illness benefit or supplementary welfare allowance.
They also liaise with MABS to provide information on various measures to support domestic households and businesses in relation to mortgages, loans and rents.
Information about the supports to protect tenants impacted by Covid-19 is also available from the Citizens Information Centre.
The service can also provide details of measures in place to maintain connections to utilities such as electricity and gas.
Updates about education, employment permits and advice for English language students is also available.
The Citizens Information Centre also provides information on travel topics from HSE advice, holiday cancellations or if you’re planning to travel to another country.
There is also information available about the supports available to older people during the pandemic and other queries in areas unrelated to Covid-19.
The Citizens Information Centre is here to help you access all of your rights and entitlements and your queries will be treated in the strictest of confidence. A drop in service is not available at this time.
