Arklow Town seek new LSL manager
ARKLOW TOWN FC are seeking applications for a Leinster Senior
League team manager prior to concluding the season following the suspension of play due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
The club say that they are looking for an ‘ambitious, aspiring coach to take on the role of managing their
Leinster Senior League team who are currently competing in the Sunday
Division 1A.’
‘This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Arklow Town FC family in a leadership position,’ they said, ‘if you feel you have the right experience and skills for the role and are looking for a new challenge, please apply,’ they added.
The key duties for the new gaffer are as follows:
To manage the men’s first team in the Leinster Senior League on match days.
To attend the first team training sessions and matches.
To work closely with an assistant coach to coach the first team in training in line with the club’s philosophy.
To design, lead and coach training sessions for the first team. To manage team admin, player registration and liaise with the club secretary on correspondence.
And to become involved with the development of younger players within the club.
‘The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, personality and a passion for collaborating with underage team coaches, with the overall aim of producing players of the future,’ they added.

The club are also hosting a memorial cup game against Gorey Rangers on Saturday, July 11 for Pat ‘Gouch’ Kinsella.
There will be no cover charge, and there will be a collection on the day for Ballyraine Day Centre Arklow where Pat worked for numerous years. There will also be music in the evening from Blackcherry.
