Woodie’s launches new Click and Collect service

-

WITH the Covid-19 pandemic having signalled an increased shift to online shopping in recent months, in response Woodie’s has launched a new ‘Click & Collect’ service.

Via this new offering, Woodie’s says it is aiming to make its customers’ online experience more ‘ hassle-free’.

According to the retailer, whether people are looking for a new light fitting or planning a home office, they can order items online and then collect them from their chosen store, without having to leave their car.

The Click and Collect process entails placing an order via https://www.woodies.ie/ click-collect. Woodie’s will then notify customers when an order is ready for collection at their selected Woodie’s store. Customers park in a dedicated Click & Collect space, dial the number provided and a Woodie’s colleague will then bring their order to their vehicle.

Speaking about the new service, CEO Declan Ronayne said Woodie’s always strives to provide a ‘smooth and seamless’ shopping experience, no matter how customers choose to shop with the retailer.

‘We understand that now more than ever customers need more convenient ways to shop, and that it doesn’t always suit to have a home delivery or to leave the car to go into store.

‘So, we are delighted to launch our brand-new Contactless Click & Collect service, as we go one step further to give ease of access to all things DIY, home and garden to the homemakers of Ireland.

‘Simply place an order online, drive to your selected store and let us look after the rest,’ he said.
