Keith Walsh’s play ‘Pure Mental’ will be on at Mermaid Arts Centre on Friday, November 20.

Having finished up a fiveyear stint presenting, in the pressure cooker that is a breakfast show on national radio, Keith Walsh finally found a bit of time for himself. He decided to take a step back, to try and figure out what the hell was going on in his head.

What is ‘Pure Mental’ about? Keith started to go to therapy; he struggled to put a label on the way he was feeling.

What was it? Midlife crisis? Midlife awakening? Breakdown? Well his family thought he was going mad. What he did do was go on a journey to find and chat to his demons and to find the real person underneath the fuzzy mess of stress. What happened in his childhood that made him unable to access the emotions he needed to tackle life in his 40s?

The show takes place from 8 p.m. and is 70 minutes long.

Tickets are available from Mermaid Arts Centre by calling the box office on 01 2724030.

Dublin Array has launched an online public exhibition platform at Dublinarray.com to give people information on the proposed offshore wind farm.

The exhibition will be available until November 20 and includes plans and photos of the 61-turbine wind farm, located on the Kish and Bray Banks, approximately 10km from the coastline.

Work on the project is expected to start in 2024, with a potential two-year construction period.

Dublin Array could consist of between 60-100 turbines up to 250 metres tall to the tip of the rotor blade. The site is 2,440 hectares in size and extends from Booterstown to Greystones.
