STUDENT COUNCIL NONUNIFORM DAY: ‘SOCKTOBER’

Thanks to all students and staff who supported the Student Council Non-Uniform Day on Friday, October 17, who helped raise much needed funds for the charity Five Loaves in Bray.

The Five Loaves charity supports those who are homeless in our local community. The charity support includes providing a hot breakfast and dinner, giving one to one information and advice, and offering recreational and educational support.

Thanks to Mr Rice and the Student Council for organising this fundraiser. We hope the money raised will go a long way to improving the lives of the most vulnerable in our society.

The programme empowers students by providing them with opportunities to develop leadership, human relation, team building and communication skills.

SCREENING OF PLAY

As part of their Leaving Cert English programme, the Higher-Level sixth year students watched the screening of Eclipsed, a play which is on the comparative section of their course. We hope the students benefited from this screening and will support their study and revision of the text.
