Social enterprise regeneration programme
BRAY Area Partnership has welcomed the announcement of a new €800,000 Social Enterprise Regeneration Programme to help social enterprises recover from the impact of Covid-19.
Social enterprises are businesses whose core objective is to achieve a societal or environmental impact. The Social Enterprise Regeneration Programme will provide free training and mentoring to social enterprises, with a focus on strategic planning, digital innovation, capacity-building and governance. It will also help them strengthen their operations and improve their services.
The programme will be managed by the Irish Local Development Network and delivered across the country by Local Development Companies like Bray Area Partnership.
‘ This is fantastic news,’ said Bray Area Partnership CEO Peter Brennan. ‘It will really enhance our existing work to support the social enterprises, providing such valuable services in our local community and help them recover from the impact of Covid-19.’
