These solutions can be offered via a self-financed or financed (co-ownership) offering which enables businesses to utilise clean energy efficiently and reduce reliance on the traditional grid system.

What are your plans for growth in Ireland and overseas?

Our growth strategy in Ireland includes broadening our presence across diverse industry sectors, forging strategic alliances and reinforcing our standing as authorities in sustainable energy solutions. We intend to engage with influential stakeholders and organisations that share our vision of promoting collective dedication to sustainable energy practices as we look forward. On an international scale, we are aspiring to explore markets where the demand for renewable energy is growing.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome since starting your company?

One significant obstacle revolved around establishing our presence as a leading entity in the fiercely competitive renewable energy sector. Drawing upon our extensive career background in the energy industry and insights gathered from global engagements, we strategically positioned

View failure as a path to success. In the renewable energy field, there is always room for new ideas, and knowing that setbacks happen has helped us foresee problems and, as a result, grow as a business. We have learned from each project that we have undertaken, and this has helped us improve our work substantially. Furthermore, this mindset has helped ACEL Energy stay innovative and keep looking ahead in all aspects of the work we do.

What advice would you have for other budding entrepreneurs?

Stay true to your passion and values. In the renewable energy field, make sure your business goals match your desire to make a difference.
