League chairman David Tully afforded a reasonable amount of time to tease out all aspects of the arguments put forward by the various delegates, before the all-important vote was taken.

This resulted in 31 voting in favour and 22 against the motion, with two abstaining, short by six votes of achieving the nec- essary twotwo-thirds majority required to effect change. The rest of the motions got a mixed response withw some being brought into lineli with FAI rules, and as a result hadh very little opposition, and two otherso failing to get through by the narrowestn of margins.

A number of motions failed to win enough support to be carried, but that one that was passed was thatth a team withdrawing from theth league and then reapplying should be placed in the division lowero than they were previously in in. Proposed by Navan Town and seconded by Slane Wanderers, theh vote was 33 to 6 in favour of th the change.

In line with the FAI National Development Plan it was proposed to operate with an Under-19 division next season instead of the Youths League.
