Anglo Printers invest in new equipment

-

Local business owners Padraic and Peter Kierans of Anglo Printers have signed a seven figure deal for new state-of-the-art printing equipment. The deal represents a major vote of confidence in the Irish print sector by this industry leading local firm. Founded in 1983 by their father Johnny Kierans, Anglo Printers have been going from strength to strength and now employs 40 people in their hometown of Drogheda. The major investment is in the purchase of a cutting edge Komori printing press. Managing Director Padraic explains: ‘We already use Komori in our production facilities in Mell, because it absolutely offers the best quality production for our clients. But the new printing press, the Komori H-UV, is in a different league altogether. It offers improved quality, faster turnaround times, unique design options, visually impactful finishes and class leading Eco credentials.’ Anglo prints for Ireland’s leading state, semi-state and private sector organisations as well as high profile clients across Europe. The company has a reputation for delivering excellence, even in the tightest of timeframes. The new press is due to be delivered and installed in the autumn. Sales Director Peter continued “For me, the most appealing feature is that the H-UV system ensures print jobs can be cut and folded immediately after printing. This radically reduces turnaround time for clients. This will give us a huge advantage over our competitors.’
