Congratulations to all the winners. THERE was beautiful autumn weather at Seapoint last weekend, a touch of heaven, for week two of the turkey competition. It was an 18 gross format and excellent scores in all grades were returned. The results were as follows:
Senior - 1st Darren Fagan 42, 2nd Gerry Breen jnr 45 (ob3 6); Inter - 1st Paul Cooney 45, 2nd Gerry Breen snr 48; Junior - 1st Tommy Lynch 51, 2nd Joe Downes 52 (ob9 24); Ladies - 1st Noelene Bedford 52, 2nd Jean Cooney 53 (ob9 25).
This week will be the third week of the turkeys and the competition will be played over an 18 nett format. Times of play are Friday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 9.30am and 2pm.
