Congratula­tions to all the winners. THERE was beautiful autumn weather at Seapoint last weekend, a touch of heaven, for week two of the turkey competitio­n. It was an 18 gross format and excellent scores in all grades were returned. The results were as follows:

Senior - 1st Darren Fagan 42, 2nd Gerry Breen jnr 45 (ob3 6); Inter - 1st Paul Cooney 45, 2nd Gerry Breen snr 48; Junior - 1st Tommy Lynch 51, 2nd Joe Downes 52 (ob9 24); Ladies - 1st Noelene Bedford 52, 2nd Jean Cooney 53 (ob9 25).

This week will be the third week of the turkeys and the competitio­n will be played over an 18 nett format. Times of play are Friday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 9.30am and 2pm.
