Congratula­tions to all. THERE is a great buzz every weekend for our Turkey Competitio­n at Seapoint, with lots of players supporting the Competitio­n. The results of last weekend’s 18 gross were as follows:

This Tuesday at 2pm we will have the final of our Club Doubles Matchplay. If you can, please come down and support our finalists Brian McGinn & Sean Breen and Patsy Fagan & Johnny Campbell snr.

Then the focus switches to the fifth week of the turkeys - the format an 18 nett. Times of play are Friday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 9.30am and 2pm. On bank holiday Monday there will be a fourball, with a draw for partners. The draw takes place at 9.30am and 2pm. LAST weekend’s nine-hole re-entry competitio­n: 1st Des Melia 22pts, 2nd George Faulkner 21pts, 3rd Noel Reay 20pts. The midweek winner was John McAllister with 23 points.
