Boylan named as county ambassador
LEGENDARY former Meath football manager Sean Boylan has been appointed as an ambassador for Meath GAA.
Boylan (pictured right), who managed the county to four All-Ireland triumphs, was ratified to the post at Monday night’s county committee meeting in Dunganny.
The position is a new one created within the sub committees which were approved at the meeting, though it is not yet clear what Boylan’s remit will be.
Anthony Monaghan (Kildalkey) has succeeded TJ Reilly (Boardsmill) as chairman of hurling promotion & development. Reilly is now vice-chairman, with Jimmy Henry continuing as secretary.
