THE society held their third outing of the year at Headfort Golf Club (Old Course) on Saturday, May 20th. The format on the day was singles stableford, with the prizes on offer kindly sponsored by our member, Mick Doyle. Tommy also secured the Nearest Pin Prize with the ‘Shot of the Day’ at the par 3 – 10th. Hole. A magnificent 5 iron, hit the flag stick and came to rest 2 feet from the cup. In tapping in for his birdie 2, Tommy took home the Birdie 2 Prize as well.
