Rampant Rogan goes on a scoring spree

-

O RAGHALLAIGHS 7-11 NA PIARSAIGH 1-8 BEN Rogan produced a stunning attacking display as he fired on a total of 4-8 to help O Raghallaighs brush aside the challenge of Na Piarsaigh at the Rock Road on Saturday night.

The result sees the Drogheda men remain in the hunt for a playoff place as they moved into fifth place in the table following their second win of the week.

For the Dundalk men it was a demoralising evening as they suffered a seventh successive loss.

To make matters worse, they now find themselves alone at the foot of the table after local rivals, Young Irelands, picked up their first win of the campaign.

In a game that saw the Drogheda men completely dominate from the outset, Ben Rogan led the scoring while also finding the net were Dean Byrne, Jack Carr and Eoin Moore.

For Na Piarsaigh, Mark Larkin chipped in with a goal, while Robert Murphy and Eamonn McAuley added two points apiece.
