Longwood net two late goals to see off Drumconrat­h

LONGWOOD DRUMCONRAT­H 4-15 2-15

TWO late goals sealed victory for Longwood in Division 4 at Drumconrat­h last Friday evening.

Two goals from Derek Duff, one a penalty, had Drumconrat­h ahead at the break, 2-9 to 1-8.

With the returning Wayne Reilly on target the hosts still led at the end of the third quarter, 2-12 to TUESDAY, JULY 4

Three successive points put Longwood ahead but a brace of points from Brendan Lyons gained parity for the home side.

Then came the two quick-fire goals which settled the issue.
