TRAD NIGHTS IN BENNETT’S

I hear Bennett’s is the place to be any Thursday night with great live music there for all to enjoy. Musicians and singers are welcome any night to perform. Starting time is 9.30p.m. So, get there early. There will be a special night on Thursday 20th July to wish bon voyage to Fr. Joe Deegan who is going to China for a year. There will be a bucket collection on the night and some great guest artistes. If you enjoy live traditiona­l music Bennett’s is the mecca for great music and craic.

Annual Irish guide dogs for the blind Church Gate collection will take place outside of the following Churches in Co Meath on the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July. CONGRATS LADIES ON WONDERFUL WIN

Huge congrats are sent to the Mattock Rangers Ladies football team who won the Junior League last week. They were up against Clan Na Gael in what was a very exciting match with final score 1-14 to 2-10. Great celebratio­ns followed needless to say. We do live in Collon! Congrats to all the team and mentors.

SUMMER CAMPS 2017 AT THE MATTOCK

The Mattock After-School Club will run their popular summer camps in Mattock Rangers Community Centre, over the following 6 weeks throughout the summer holidays: 10th – 14th/17th – 21st /Aug 8th – 11th/14th – 18th/21st – 25th.
