PIUS Tierney will host his re-arranged President Prize Day this coming Sunday with the presentati­on and buffet taking place on Sunday afternoon after the golf is finished.

The Spill Assist Finale will take place over the first weekend in November in conjunctio­n with last weekends postponed Gold Medal and Wednesday Cup Finals. The tee-off times for the finals are booked on the time sheet from 10am to 11am.

Captains Presentati­on Night Dinner will take place on Saturday Nov 18 at 8pm in the clubhouse. Once again Ryan from An Cafe Brew, Dundalk will be providing the food. All matchplay and monthly medal winners, Spill Assist Golfer of the Year trophies will be presented.

The draw for the Powakaddy will also take place on Captains Night as per the advertisin­g posters. Tickets are limited, so you should book them early from club secretary Mark.

There will be an open 3 person Cloverhill Champagne Scramble on Nov 11th and 12th at £75 per team which includes food and prizes.

The competitio­n format is all 3 players tee-off, the best drive is taken and then all 3 players finish out their own ball at the hole. Scoring is stableford with one score to count at the Par 3’s, 2 scores to count at the Par 4’s and all 3 scores to count at the Par 5’s.

Included in your entry fee, there are also six nearest the pin prizes and food after your round.

The competitio­n is playable either Saturday or Sunday with team prizes for GUI, Non-GUI, all ladies teams, Society teams or mixed teams.
