Homeless Aid hungry for support

-

YOU can share the joy of Christmas this year by donating to Drogheda Homeless Aid without leaving the comfort of your favourite local restaurant!

From December 6th to December 23rd, some of Drogheda’s finest restaurants will be participating in ‘Dine and Give’, an innovative fundraising programme run in association with the Restaurants Association of Ireland and Drogheda Homeless Aid.

Participating restaurants for the 2017 campaign are: Lime Kiln Julianstown, Bare Food Cafe, Relish Café Bettystown, Southgate & Laurences Street and Eastern Seabord.

Here’s how it works: Diners who eat in participating restaurants will have the option of leaving a small donation towards front line services provided to the homeless population of Drogheda when they pay their bill at the end of their meal.

There will be small information cards outlining the work that Drogheda Homeless Aid does left on each table. These will contain envelopes in which diners can deposit a donation at their own discretion.

All donations go towards frontline services Drogheda Homeless Aid provides to vulnerable members of the local community.

These include preventative services for those at risk of homelessness, emergency accommodation for those who are homeless, transitional accommodation and resettlement support for those who are moving out into independent living.
