Greyhound’s loss puts Sally in driving seat

SALLY Inn (Slane) are clear leaders of the Fosters Duleek & District League’s top flight after second-placed Greyhound suffered their first defeat on Friday night.

Carranstown’s victory over Greyhound moved them into second spot, two points behind Sally, while there are now clear leaders in Division 1 also - Maguires - as their nearest challengers Matthews and Carranstown B drew with each other.

Thatch C, who looked unassailable at the top of Division 2 until recently, have now dropped to second place after continuing their poor run with defeat at the hands of Lynchs who are the new leaders.

Only two points cover the top six teams in Division 3 where Railway Bar are currently top of the pile. Fosters Div 3:
