MRS. PANSY MORGAN

Collon and the surrounding areas were very saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs Pansy Morgan on Friday 24th November. She was in her 90th year.

Pansy was an absolute lady who always had a smile and a kind word for all. She had the softest spoken voice and upon meeting you would always enquire of the well-being of your family members.

She would never offend anyone and had the gentlest heart. She was always there for her family and friends.

Pansy took over the role of Caretaker of Collon National School in 1987 from her husband Jack who passed away then.

She took on this role with great pride and love and would cycle in the busy Collon/Slane road to work. She retired in 2004.

The huge numbers that attended her wake and funeral showed the huge esteem in which Pansy and her family are held. Pansy was laid to rest after her funeral Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate.

She is survived by her sons Brendan, David, Dessie and Noel. Daughters Bernie, Carmel and Angela. Predeceased by her husband Jack, son Jim and daughter Frances, grandchildren, great grandchildren daughters in laws, sons in law and all extended family members.

We extended our deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy is sent to Brian Finnegan (Belpatrick) and his family on the recent death of his mother Doris Finnegan Ardee. May she rest in peace.
