JULIANSTOWN TIDY TOWNS

The Julianstown Tidy Towns committee is looking for volunteers to help keep Julianstown tidy. We always have regular activities planned and would encourage a large town participation.

Volunteering with Julianstown Tidy Towns gives you the opportunity to get out and about and feel involved in the community, to make new friends and to have a say in how Julianstown should look. Getting involved in Tidy Towns involves much more than picking up litter and weeding (although these are very important!).

It can mean putting on community events such as our Summer Festival, Halloween and Christmas events. landscaping, or engaging with schools and businesses about minimizing waste. Whatever your interest, there’s a need for your time and expertise! We generally meet every Saturday morning at 10.30 am in the Village Garden for a couple of hours work and then have a chat about what has to be done over a nice cuppa! To express your interest in joining, simply contact us using our Facebook Page or email us on julianstowndca@ gmail.com.
