A wide range of exercise based Modified Pilates classes are on offer throughout the day, all the classes are small and taught by chartered physiotherapists covering beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. There are classes designed for those over 60, an osteoporosis class for any age, pre and post natal Pilates classes, a mother & baby class, baby yoga, and a new kiddy Pilates (8-12 years old). There is a men’s only class, though many of the classes are mixed! All equipment is provided in BodyRight’s modern and fresh Pilates studio.
The type of Pilates taught at BodyRight is Modified Pilates, an evidence based, and highly individualised form of traditional Pilates practised by physiotherapists. Benefits range from improving back problems to improving flexibility, posture, balance, pelvic floor and core strength. There is also an important emphasis on mindfulness and relaxation allowing participants to finish the class energised yet relaxed.
Other services at the BodyRight Clinic include Nutritional Therapy by Ciara Ryan and Joint Injections by Dr Conor MacMahon. The treatment rooms are bright and airy and available to rent on a flexible basis.
