John Kirk Park speeding

GARDAI are to look at issues in relation to speeding in the John Kirk estate in Clogherhead.

Parents arriving late for school are ‘speeding down the road’, a local councillor has claimed.

Cllr Tom Cunningham raised the matter at the Joint Policing meeting, saying that the issue had been brought to his attention.

‘I think the presence of the Gardai in the area will slow them down,’ he stated. Supt Andrew Watters said a unit would visit the area.
