Walshestown NS pupils chosen for academy
Three Sixth Class pupils from Scoil Naomh Phóil, St. Paul’s N. S., Walshestown have been chosen to participate in a 6th Class Academy in association with Louth Coaching and Games.
The three pupils who are representing both their school and local, G.A.A. clubs are: Ciarán Caffrey who plays Gaelic Football for Dreadnots G.F.C.; James McGlew who plays both Gaelic Football and Hurling with St. Fechin’s G.A.A. and Charlie Murphy who plays Gaelic Football with Naomh Mairtin C.P.G.
The three pupils have already started their training at the Darver Centre of Excellence and will compete in a number of cross-county blitzes with other children outside of Louth.
