Slane car win for Mark and Tina
THE Slane Community Centre fundraiser proved a resounding success and the committee would like to thank everyone who brought and sold tickets as well as all the sponsors.
The draw took place last in Lynch’s Lounge and the three top prizes of motor cars were won by people from the locality.
It was also a lucky weekend for another local, Josie Kerr, who won the top prize of €100 in the Tidy Towns draw on Friday night and then scooped €5,000 in the Community Centre draw.
The prize winners were - 1st Prize: Toyota Corolla or €20,000 Mark and Tina Laird;
2nd Prize: Toyota Yaris or €15,000 Louis and Joy Cassidy;
3rd Prize: Toyota Aygo or €10,000 Sandra Mullen;
4th Prize: €5,000, Josie Kerr;
5th Prize: €3,000 Holiday Voucher Derek Cullen;
6th Prize: Topaz Fuel Voucher for €2,500 Owen Brennan;
7th Prize: Trip to Cheltenham Janet Curley; 8th Prize: 2,000l Home heating Oil Eamonn McElduff;
9th Prize:€1,000 Veronica Marry; 10th Prize: €1,000 Janet Curley;
