TERMONFECKIN CELTIC FC.
A new Defibrillator has just been installed at the local Termonfeckin Celtic Soccer Club on the Sheetland Road. This will be very beneficial to the club and indeed the whole community should the need for it ever arise. A heart attack victim’s survival rate increases from 6% to 74% with the proper trained usage of this equipment. All at Termonfeckin Celtic FC would like to thank Cllr. OliverTully for assisting the Club in sourcing this equipment and also for attending the training day to get himself fully trained to use this equipment. With well over 200 children involved each week, this machine provides great reassurance to all.
SCHOOL STARS 2018
Justin Bieber has serious competition from a star in our midst. This view was shared by pop mentor and X Factor Judge Louis Walsh when he heard the voice of Charles Kirwan from Scoil Mhuire gan Smal who performed at the Primary Schools Stars Grand Finals in the TLT Concert recently. His performance of “Somebody to You” saw Charles emerging as the overall winner of the Primary Schools Section of the competition.
This was a huge achievement and a great honour for the school. Given his great ability to perform on stage and with comments like that from a major player in the music industry, “the sky is the limit” Charles.
