‘Fees should be reduced’ O’Dowd

-

LOUTH TD Fergus O’Dowd has said local business opportunities will arise following the decision of Louth County Council to suspend parking charges pending the adoption of new bye laws. ‘BUSINESSES and residents of Drogheda have been calling for a reduction in parking fees in Drogheda for some time now,’ he said, addding the decision to suspend charges will give rise to local businesses putting forward a joint submission for reduced charges based on the changes in their business profile over the next two or three months. ‘I would call on all businesses to grasp this opportunity to record the change in their footfall and finances.’
