Front window of Wogan’s Hardware was put in

-

A Co. Dublin man, who paid €760 compensation, his share of the cost of replacing a window, has had a criminal damage charge struck out.

Aaron Murphy (26), Stonewall, Walshestown, Lusk, admitted the charge which arose out of an incident in Dunleer on 22 January, 2017.

Sgt Ray Brady gave evidence that as two men made their way home in the middle of the night, the front window of Wogan’s Hardware on Main Street was put in.

A second defendant, Thomas Moore (20), The White House, Collon Road, Begrath, Drogheda, who faces a similar charge, had his case adjourned to 8 June next.

Solicitor Paddy Goodwin said Moore has no compensation and is hoping to get a job
