Retailers getting geared up for the arrival of Fleadh

-

LOCAL Enterprise Week Louth got off to a great start with a full house for the opening event in Drogheda.

Fleadh Cheoil na héireann is the biggest event to ever take place in Drogheda with over 400,000 visitors expected in August. Local Enterprise Office Louth joined forces with Drogheda Chamber, Ennis Chamber and Retail Excellence Ireland to stage a workshop for local retailers.

The session helped retailers to understand the Fleadh audience, what it feels like to have the Fleadh in town and to think about ways that they could engage with Fleadh visitors.

The session also challenged retailers to examine how to work together and also how to look after regular customers during the busyness of the Fleadh.

There was a great buzz in the room and lots of great ideas to build on.
