Tipperary played well within themselves, but were still on top in almost every sector throughout the 70 minutes. Corner forwards Conor Sweeney and Liam McGrath did most of the damage scoring 11 points between them, but Tipp weren’t afraid to push up on Louth’s sweeper and right wing back Bill Maher reaped the rewards, scoring 1-1 and proving a handful for the Reds’ defence all afternoon.
