NH MALACHI CUCHULAINN GAELS 2-16 1-5

NAOMH Malachi collected their first win of the new season when they proved too strong for Cuchulainn Gaels on Thursday night.

The Courtbane side had the better of the first half and made the most of their opportunit­ies as both Noel Donaldson and Ronan McElroy found the back of the net.

The Mals continued to dominate in the second period this time through some impressive point scoring as their brought their tally to 16 points for the hour.

Cuchulainn Gaels played with heart throughout and raised the green flag themselves in the second half through Peter McCabe to earn some consolatio­n from the game.
