Results for the recent boat competition for pike for the Bill Ryan Cup. 1st S Martin & K Rogers, 2nd F Dunne, J Coleman & W Heasley, 3rd M Seery & M Connor.

The first trout competition for 2018 will be held on St Patrick’s day on Saturday 17th March for The Gallagher Cup. The junior competition will be for the John Lynch Cup. Entries will be taken from 10am at the Parish Centre in Duleek. Fishing for 11am to 4pm. For further details contact the club secretary on 087-4153781. Note that the river will be closed from the 12th of March and reopens on the 17th of March.

RETIREMENT

Best wishes to Adrian Murray our local milkman for the last 33 years who retired last week for health reasons. Thank you to Adrian for the loyal service provided to his customers over the years – he will be greatly missed.

ADAMS WISH

Duleek Womens Forum are running a Coffee Morning and Bring and Buy Sale on Tuesday morning 27th March at 10.30am in Duleek Courthouse. There will also be a raffle on the day with 1st prize of an Easter Egg Hamper along with several other prizes.
