Town library is the place to see

CALLING all parents, grandparen­ts & children (age 3-6 years). Why not Spring into Storytime at Drogheda Library with some storytelli­ng?

Admission is free and children’s favourites will be read, including The Gruffalo and other stories on Tuesday April 3rd at 11.30am plus The TIger Who Came to Tea and others stories on Friday April 13th at 3.30pm.

On Saturday April 21st at 11.30am, you can enjoy Amazing Animal Stories and Stories, and Nursery Rhymes are on the menu on Saturday April 28th at 11.30am.

There’s something for the younger audience too, with the baby Book Club being held on Wednesday March 21st at 10.30am. It’s never too early to introduce your children to books, and all are welcome.

And if you prefer reading off a screen, Drogheda Library is holding free iPad classes on April 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 17th.

Class times are 12.30pm to 2.30pm or 2.45pm to 4.45pm. To reserve a place call 041 9876162.

Spurs join the Boys

FOLLOWING on from last summer’s world class event, Tottenham Hotspur return to Marley’s Lane for a two-day player developmen­t camp during the Easter Holidays on 3rd-4th April. The camp will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.

The camp costs €110 for the two days and further details from the droghedabo­ys.com website. The hugely popular FAI Soccer Sisters camp comes to Marley’s Lane on the 5th and 6th April. For girls aged 6-14 the camp will run from 10am to 2pm each day and will be led by FAI coaches. The camp costs €30 and includes a full kit. Bookings can be made at www. soccersist­ers.ie
