ST FECHINS GLEN EMMETS 1-16 0-6

ST FECHINS bounced back from successive defeats as they recorded a comfortable win over Glen Emmets in Tullyallen.

The home side made the brighter start, but the Fechins took a grip of the match and moved three clear with Bevan Duffy, Karl McDonnell and Joseph Corrigan on target. A goal on 29 minutes from substitute Donal Ryan followed by two Ronan Holcroft points saw the visitors go in at the break with a very healthy 1-8 to 0-3 lead.

Any hope of an Emmets comeback disappeared in the third quarter as St Fechins kicked three unanswered points from McDonnell, Holcroft and Niall Devlin.

The home side battled on and pointed through Damien Grimes, Butler and Conor Grimes but the Fechins never looked in danger.
