Drogheda Floral Art group host agm in Holy Family Community Centre
Drogheda & District Floral Art Group AGM on Tuesday 15th May at 7.30pm, in the Holy Family Community Centre, Ballsgrove. All members please attend. Followed by a horticultural talk, a questions and answers session and plant sale. No competitions this month.

St Pio devotions will take place in St Marys church Drogheda on Thursday 17th May,mass at 7.30pm followed by Eucharistic healing blessing with relic of St Pio,rosary at 7.05pm,all are very welcome.
Duleek fair
Duleek Fair Weekend takes place from Friday June 29th to Sunday July 1st, with fun, entertainment and activities for people of all ages. Purple Sessions
THE Purple Sessions come to the Droichead Arts Centre on May 19th to mark 10 years of the event.
The monthly night of original singer songwriters has become synonymous with Boyle’s of Slane.
The fabulous line up of musicians for the birthday gig in the Droichead includes Sonny Condell (Scullion / Tit no Nog ), Kern featuring Drogheda musical legend Stephen J McArdle, Fuzz Gigolo, Drogheda , Grace Wilde , Skerries, Red Empire, Dublin, Emma Langford, Limerick, Meridas, Slane, Mark Flynn, Dublin and The Needables, Dublin.

John Lowe in Nolans
Three times World Darts Champion , John Lowe, will be taking on 20 local players, in Nolan’s, Chord Road, on Saturday June 16th in a fundraiser for the Drogheda Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service.
Lowe is one of only six players to have won the World Championship three times, having done so in 1979, 1987 and 1993.
He achieved the ultimate 9 dart feat in darts on 13 October 1984 during the World Matchplay tournament against Keith Deller . Lowe won £102,000 for this success.
