Three-day festival of music at Beaulieu House

-

WITH just a few days to go until Co Louth’s biggest annual music festival returns to Beaulieu House and Gardens, Vantastival’s organisers have announced the final details for this year’s three-day event.

With crowd-pleasing Irish acts like Le Galaxie and The Stunning headlining, there’s also the usual huge array of activities and entertainments besides music. Vantastival is once again committing to its role as a community-spirited, family friendly festival, and as ever, the programme of children’s events is extensive. This year’s theme of “The Enchanted Garden” is designed to inspire imagination and creative play in young minds.

For the first time ever, responding to the needs of their loyal punters from Louth and beyond, Vantastival will run a regular shuttle bus service every half hour on each day of the festival, connecting Beaulieu House and Gardens with Merchant’s Quay in Drogheda Port for just €3.

Having returned to a three-day format this year with a limited programme of acts on Friday night, organisers are warning that access for Friday evening only comes as part of their three-day camping ticket, which must be booked online.

Also, due to the lack of credit card services at the festival site, online sales of festival tickets cease at 7am on the Friday morning of the festival. Cash sales for day tickets for Saturday and Sunday will be available from the festival box office, but it’s first come, first serve so if you don’t want to be disappointed, the remaining tickets can be snapped up online now.

The car park opens for the festival at 1pm on Friday, and the festival site is open from 2.30pm. The car park opens at 10am Saturday and Sunday mornings, and the festival box office opens between 10.30am and 11.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entry to the site is not permitted after 11pm.

Celebrating its third year at Beaulieu House and Gardens, Vantastival is going from strength to strength and is delighted to be able to offer festival-goers a three-day event this June Bank Holiday weekend.

They are also strong supporters of local acts and this year’s winners of the festival’s annual new talent competition, the Firestone Battle of the Bands, is Drogheda four-piece Modernlove. who will headline the Firestone Live stage on Sunday night.

Vantastival 2018 is once again powered by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

3-day, 2-day and single day tickets are on sale now from www.vantastival.com and Eventbrite.ie.
