Pizza date with Taylor Swift!
And she offers life advice!
TWO Drogheda teenagers were given the opportunity of a lifetime to share pizza with Taylor Swift after her Croke Park concert.
The world famous star even had time to chat with Hannah Horan (16) and Ellie Kevitt Murphy (18) who were amongst the 70,000 fans who attended the Dublin stop of Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour.
Towards the end of the show Hannah noticed a woman standing beside her who turned out to be Andrea Swift - Taylor’s mother. She invited them to meet the star backstage.
‘We were shocked,’ Hannah exclaimed.
TWO local school girls were given the opportunity of a lifetime at Taylor Swift’s Croke Park show last Friday.
Hannah Horan (16) and Ellie Kevitt Murphy (18) were amongst the 70,000 fans who attended the Dublin stop of Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour when they received the ultimate surprise.
The two girls have quite a following on social media and Taylor herself even follows them on Tumblr. They had been posting about how they were attending the show but had no idea what was about to unfold.
Towards the end of the show, Hannah noticed a woman standing beside her who turned out to be Andrea Swift, Taylor’s mother.
She had been watching the girls for quite a while according to a steward and then proceeded to ask them the question they had been dreaming of for years “Would you girls like to meet Taylor?”
Overjoyed, the girls made their way backstage into Taylor’s “Rep Room” where they were provided with pizza, snacks and Polaroid cameras to take pictures with the other lucky fans who were chosen to meet the pop sensation
The time had finally come and the girls were greeted with a big hug from Taylor who thanked them for attending the show and for all the support over the years. Hannah explained how Taylor helped her through some difficult moments in life in which Taylor responded “I’m so sorry you had to go through that, I can’t imagine what it must have felt like, the whole world kept moving but you were stuck in such sadness, thank you for telling me that”
In her advice to Ellie, Taylor said to “always focus on one little thing that makes you happy, even something as little as hearing your best friend laugh”
“She was breathtakingly beautiful and the nicest person in the world. She made everyone feel like she was listening to every word they were saying. She made everyone feel important” Ellie said about the popstar
Overall Hannah described the experience as “life changing, I had dreamt about that moment for nine years. I’m so grateful for everything Taylor and her mum do for the fans. I will always carry the memories of that night close to my heart.”
